Day 204 of 365 - Whiteboard

Today I tried to take a picture of a conference room whiteboard that was interesting and this is what I came up with. My old friend light helped out in giving the picture some interest. I must admit that I had to “digitally” erase a little of the contents of the board since it did contain information relevant to current activities.

White boards always amaze me. I grew up in a time where there were only chalkboards and they were always dusty and messy and made a lot of noise. White boards today are so much more functional and simpler to use. It is just one of so many things that have come along in my life and made things much more convenient. I can still remember when the first whiteboards were installed at HP when I was working there. It was such a convenience and so revolutionary, now it is just one more thing I take for granted.

So here is to the revolutionary whiteboard. One man’s revolutionary advancement is another man’s been-there-done-that.
