Day 187 of 365 - Conference Room

At my company we have a lovely conference room off our lobby in the front of our building. The conference room is very nice, but the thing I like about it most of all is the ceiling. It was my one contribution to the room. We wanted to have a very professional feel to the room and that is hard to achieve in space with a drop-down ceiling. At the time we were watching Trading Spaces and one of the ideas shared on the show was taking plywood, staining it and using it in a drop-down ceiling. We decided to use that idea in our conference room, so we had someone come up with a stain that matched our conference room table and had them replace our regular drop-down tiles with these stained plywood tiles.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in this space and I really like it, especially when I look up and see our “Trading Spaces” ceiling.
