Day 186 of 265 - Grill Lamp

In casting about for today’s picture I headed out in the backyard with just my trusty little camera in the dark. With that as our backdrop, I submit to you our trusty little grill light. In the winter when the sun sets early, this little light is a God-send. It’s attached to our very nice backyard grill and it gives us more than enough light on the grill and in the grill area. I was hoping to get just such a picture where the flash only hits the neck and head of the light itself and gives me a dark background and this one did the trick. I am amazed at the halogen head on this light, any light shined in there at all is so reflected that it looks like the light is actually turned on.

I’m hoping to take some more night pictures in the future. I don’t really have the camera for it, but I take that as a challenge to still come up with an interesting picture.
